Common Questions

What is the meeting format?
Our meetings are an hour long. They start with an opening reading, time for participant shares and conversation, setting of intentions, and a closing reading. We encourage back-and-forth conversation. You can jump in and respond with advice, feedback or encouragement for the other members.
Do I have to speak or show my face in meetings?
No! Sharing is always optional, as is showing your face. But we would really love it if you did!
Who hosts the meetings?
Our support meetings are hosted by a recovery coach who is there to facilitate conversation and help with intention setting for each member.
What kind of sobriety are you talking about?
We are focused on helping people change their relationship with alcohol through connection. We do not advocate any specific pathway or goals. We accept anyone who wants to change their relationship with alcohol.
Are these AA meetings?
These are not AA meetings. But we welcome beneficial principles and practices from any pathway. You can be in AA and still attend our meetings for connection through conversation. We love crosstalk!
What if I'm not sober yet?
You do not need to be sober to attend these meetings. You just need to be open to changing your relationship with alcohol.
I'm worried about privacy. Are the meetings and community private?
Only members have access to the Zoom information and community.
